How the founder of Hey Sis! I Got You! is transforming healing, leadership and humanitarian service into a global movement for women and underserved communities

For Antina Campbell, purpose emerged through challenges, healing and an unwavering commitment to helping others recognize the power within their own stories. Today, Campbell is transforming that personal journey into a growing international movement centered on healing, empowerment, leadership and community impact.

As the founder of Hey Sis! I Got You!, Campbell has created a platform designed to help women feel seen, supported, healed and empowered to walk boldly in their purpose. What began as an inspirational book has evolved into a multi-platform movement focused on storytelling, mentorship, leadership development and personal transformation.

Campbell, a USA TODAY featured author of Hey Sis! I Got You!, says her mission has always been rooted in helping others understand that adversity does not have to define their future.

“Your pain does not disqualify your purpose. The very thing you survived may be the key that helps someone else heal,” Campbell said.

Turning Personal Experience Into Community Impact

Campbell’s work spans nonprofit leadership, media production, mentorship, pageantry and humanitarian outreach. Throughout every endeavor, she has remained focused on creating opportunities for women and underserved communities to heal, grow and thrive.

As Founder and CEO of The S.W.A.E. Foundation, Campbell leads initiatives centered on mentorship, youth leadership development, emotional wellness and creative empowerment. Through programs such as Strong Roots, Strong Minds, participants gain access to leadership resources, confidence-building opportunities and tools designed to support emotional wellness and personal growth.

Her commitment to humanitarian work has also expanded internationally through outreach initiatives in Belize and Ghana. Campbell has participated in community-development efforts supporting underserved families, youth empowerment initiatives, wellness outreach and resource distribution programs designed to uplift communities facing economic and social barriers.

Among those efforts was the delivery of more than 2,000 pairs of shoes to underserved communities in Belize, part of a broader mission focused on restoring dignity, creating opportunity and providing support to individuals and families in need.

Campbell’s international leadership also includes serving as Miss Black Globe Belize 2025, a role that further reflects her commitment to cultural empowerment, humanitarian advocacy and global community engagement.

The Evolution of Hey Sis! I Got You!

Campbell says the need for culturally relevant spaces for healing and empowerment inspired the growth of Hey Sis! I Got You! into something much larger than a book.

Today, the platform serves as a movement dedicated to healing, sisterhood, storytelling and purpose-driven leadership. Through workshops, mentorship initiatives, media platforms and community engagement, the movement creates opportunities for women—particularly Black women—to engage in honest conversations surrounding healing, identity, mental wellness and self-discovery.

“I truly believe that purpose can still be born from pain,” Campbell said. “Some of the most difficult seasons of my life became the foundation for the work I do today—creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, healed and empowered to walk boldly in who they were created to be.”

The movement continues to expand through upcoming live experiences, retreats, media initiatives and the highly anticipated launch of the Hey Sis! I Got You! Podcast in August 2026. The podcast will focus on healing conversations, leadership development, faith, resilience and personal growth while providing a platform for authentic storytelling and empowerment.

Building Legacy Through Leadership

In addition to her nonprofit and humanitarian work, Campbell serves as Executive Director of the Miss Black International Ambassador (MBIA) Scholarship Program, a global leadership and scholarship platform dedicated to developing young women into confident, culturally aware leaders and global change agents.

Campbell is also the producer of the film Our Kind, further expanding her influence in media and storytelling. Through Trio Diamond Productions, she continues developing projects centered on representation, empowerment and transformative narratives that inspire change.

Her leadership and advocacy work also includes membership in the Black Speakers Bureau, as well as affiliations with organizations including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Los Angeles Chapter, and the California Black Women’s Collective Empowerment Institute.

Looking ahead, Campbell plans to continue expanding her work across media, live events, leadership development, fashion, film and stage productions while remaining grounded in the mission that started it all: helping others heal and recognize their value.

“My faith has taught me that every challenge carries purpose,” Campbell said. “Even in moments when I didn’t fully understand the journey, God was preparing me to lead, serve and help others heal.”

For Campbell, success is measured not simply by business growth, but by the lives impacted along the way.

“At this stage in my life, I’m not just building businesses—I’m building legacy,” she said. “I want the work I create to impact lives long after I’m gone.”

As Hey Sis! I Got You! continues to grow into a global platform for healing and empowerment, Campbell remains committed to reminding women everywhere that healing is possible, purpose is intentional and their stories still matter.
