Building a Nationwide Signing Service From the Ground Up
Entrepreneurship often begins with a simple idea. For Shatia Moore and Glenita Bjorklund (Henry), that idea became Sign and Date Here, LLC, a growing nationwide signing service that is making an impact across the country.

Founded in April 2025, Sign and Date Here was built on a foundation of professionalism, communication, and industry expertise. What started as a conversation at a conference quickly evolved into a business that now operates in 26 states, including U.S. territories, has a network of more than 175 notaries, and has successfully completed more than 180 signings.
The company’s growth demonstrates how vision, preparation, and persistence can transform an idea into a thriving enterprise.
A Conversation That Sparked a Business
Every successful company has an origin story. For Sign and Date Here, the inspiration came from an unexpected moment.
While attending a conference in early 2025, a simple statement planted the seed for what would become a rapidly growing business.
That conversation encouraged Moore and Bjorklund to think bigger about their combined experience in the mortgage, lending, and notary industries. Both women understood the importance of reliable signing services and recognized an opportunity to create a company focused on quality, trust, and exceptional customer service.
Within months, they launched Sign and Date Here and began building a nationwide presence.
Rapid Growth Through Relationships and Excellence

One of the company’s greatest achievements has been its ability to scale while maintaining strong client relationships.
By May 2026, Sign and Date Here celebrated its strongest month to date with approximately 297 closings. The company continues to serve title companies, escrow companies, mortgage lenders, attorneys, trust professionals, healthcare organizations, and real estate professionals throughout the United States.
According to Moore, the mission extends beyond transactions.
“We’re just getting started,” she said. “Our vision is to build one of the largest and most trusted signing service companies in the country while creating opportunities for notaries and delivering exceptional service to every client we serve.”
Creating Opportunities for Notaries Nationwide
In addition to supporting clients, Sign and Date Here is committed to helping notaries grow successful businesses.
The company actively mentors professionals entering the industry and is developing a Preferred Notary Network designed to provide training, education, and long-term opportunities.
This focus on professional development reflects the founders’ belief that business success should also create opportunities for others.
As a Black-owned, women-owned business founded by two entrepreneurs from Southeast San Diego, Sign and Date Here is demonstrating that leadership and innovation can come from any community.

Looking Ahead to All 50 States
The company’s long-term vision is ambitious but clear: expand service coverage to all 50 states while becoming one of the nation’s most trusted signing service providers.
For Moore and Bjorklund, success is measured not only by growth but also by relationships, impact, and service.
Their journey serves as a reminder that remarkable businesses often begin with a single conversation, a willingness to take action, and the courage to believe in a bigger vision.
As Sign and Date Here continues to expand nationwide, its story remains one of entrepreneurship, resilience, and the power of building opportunities for others.
